First post in February 2010. Time sure flies by fast. So far I have heard back from three schools. I got accepted to Baruch, Drexel, and Queens College. I can’t wait for my other results. Hopefully I got into all the schools I applied to *crosses fingers*. Earlier this month, I received my second report card for this year. Surprisingly, I’m doing better during my senior year than my junior year =_=”.
Nothing extraordinary had happened to me since my last update. In the last week of January, while all seniors were enjoying their Regents week, I had to retake my English regents for two days, and practice on Forensics for the Science Olympiad competition. It wasn’t like I failed my English regents from last year, but I didn’t do so good. In order to get some Regents Honors, all my regents have to average to a 90. I retook it and did a lot better :) On January 30th, it was a friend’s birthday, so we went bowling and her house to celebrate.
Last Saturday was the Science Olympiad competition. This was my fourth and last year participating in this event. This year not only did I compete in the Forensic section, but I was also the Spirit Team Leader. I designed the school’s shirt and basically raised everyone’s school’s spirit haha. This year was also as memorable as previous years. This year our school did pretty good, we got fourth place in trajectory. :D
Next week is Winter Break! I can’t wait!! And tomorrow school will be canceled because of the upcoming snow storm. SNOW DAY TWO YEARS IN A ROW w00t!
P.S. BTW, does anyone know how to code a wordpress layout? I made a layout, but I have no clue have to integrate it with wordpress T_T I looked up for tutorials online, and they’re all complicated. :(

Converting wordpress layouts aren’t all that hard if you understand what you are doing >.> It’s actually really simple!
I looked over http://www.wpdesigner.com/2007/02/19/so-you-want-to-create-wordpress-themes-huh/ This will help you get the general idea of what to do… copying and pasting is all there is really. It’s not really updated (written back in 2007) so some tags may not work… I’ve yet to come around to making the reply link though =_=
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags really helps with some extras; especially when it comes to the navigation customization (or you can just get this plugin that will easily allow you to customize without hassle…forgot what it was called though)
If you really don’t want to look through the above, I would recommend http://dashofcolor.net/tutorials/wordpress-tutorials as a last resort since the steps are short and sweet.

Congratulations on the acceptance letters!! I almost went to Drexel =P Which other schools did you apply to?? Hope you get into all of them!! I’ve never heard of Regents week before though, is that just an east-coast highschool thing? I think we have the state testing here in California but seniors don’t have to do it anymore. =P
That’s cool that you were a member of Science Olympiad all four years. I remember I tried out back in 8th grade and didn’t even compete in the part I signed up for because our group forgot goggles, and the woman didn’t let us in! =[
