So for this New Year, I didn’t do anything that’s very interesting or amazing. As usual, I spend these holidays with my family. I usually stay home to celebrate with my family, and other days are used to celebrate with my friends.
This post will contain some old events. On December 20th, I had a lunch date with my closest nursing friends. Since all of us are going to different places to study aboard next semester, we wanted to spend more time before everyone separates ;( We also had a Secret Santa exchange.
We went to eat at Ippudo. If you’ve read my older posts, I mentioned that I didn’t like this place despite the fact that it’s so popular. The last time I went, was also my first, I ordered this beef ramen and I only got ONE slice of meat, and was very disappointed.
But this time around, it was much better since I did receive more than one slice of meat :D (maybe because I ordered something different?)

Four out of the five ramen bowls.
Next we went to Pinkberry to get frozen yogurt!

I didn’t really want, because I was full and it was a really cold day…but fell under peer pressure to get some =_=” I really love this picture–but one of my friend is missing because she was the one taking the photo. I am the second one from the left.
So one of my friends had to leave early to finish packing since she had to check out of her dorm on the same day and was going back to New Jersey! :( Another had plans with another person…so that leaves me and two other friends. We decided to go to check out American Apparel’s warehouse that was open for like a week or so. We were disappointed and left the store with empty handed. We then decided to walk to 34th Street – Herald Square to shop around and just hang out.

A tourist picture ahahah I blocked out my friend’s face because I don’t have permission to post her picture XD
So that concludes that lunch break. We met up early this week on December 28th for our final lunch date. Some of my friends are leaving earlier this month (January) T__T
We went to Teariffic.

I ordered a chicken cutlet with rice and a Blue Hawaii with tapioca drink. I remember really liking the Blue Hawaii, but I was disappointed this time.
It was nice just sitting down and just chat away. I’m really going to miss these wonderful girls :( We’ve been pretty much together all the time in school because we have the same major and have almost all classes together. After eating lunch we went to watch The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

It was surprisingly very good! I had heard of this movie, but I wasn’t really interested because I thought it was similar to Percy Jackson series, but I was completely wrong. This movie was dark and had some brutal scenes. This movie is rated R, so don’t watch it if you have a weak heart! There’s a number of sex scenes and there’s a rape scene. But overall, I’m impressed by all the actors and how well this movie was delivered. I will be definitely watching next one!
